Individual Therapy

I have great experience guiding countless people on their unique path of increased understanding of the factors that affect and influence them, and learnings how to most effectively manage the stress, situations, and dynamics that impact their lives.

A common form of talk therapy, this classic approach utilizes a variety of techniques in a free-flowing process that serves to surface unconscious or deeply buried thoughts and feelings so that they may be addressed through insight and resolution.

Adolescent & Adult Psychotherapy

Adults, Adolesents & Couples

If you are struggling with issues that are confusing and troubling, psychotherapy can help. It can give you access to parts of your mind that are blocked or unclear and, as a result, render you unable to know and understand yourself.

Philosophy & Approach

Every person has a life story that is highly significant and has shaped who and where he or she is today. Each patient with whom I work in psychotherapy is a unique individual struggling with issues that they have been unable to resolve on their own.

About Dr. Shirley Malove

I earned my M.S.W. at Barry University in 1989. Over the past two and a half decades while practicing psychotherapy with adults and adolescents, I have continued to receive extensive training in the art and technique of psychodynamic psychotherapy.
